ROYALPRIME 1400
Alkyd Zinc Phosphate Anti-Corrosive Primer
A single component high build multi-purpose alkyd primer formulated with high performance modified zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigmentation for use on steel substrates. It is specially formulated as an environment friendly alternative to lead of and Chromate based primes.
- Post fabrication primer in new construction projects for either conventional, chlorinated rubber or polyurethane systems.
- Suitable for interior or exterior environments in moderately aggressive environments.
- Excellent anti-corrosive properties that outperform conventional zinc phosphate based primers.
- Can be applied to non-blast cleaned surfaces.
- Suitable for use in applications where dry heat resistance up to 100ºC is required.
- As a rapid recoatable primer when quick handling times are critical.
ROYALPRIME 1501
Etch Primer
A two component, etching / wash primer based on a polyvinyl butyral resin, phosphoric acid and zinc chromate anti corrosive pigmentation.
- An acidic pre-treatment etching primer for use on galvanised iron, aluminium, zinc, copper and *other non-ferrous substrates to promote and enhance adhesion of subsequent coatings.
- Very fast drying.
- Can be over-coated with a variety of single pack and two pack products.
- Extended overcoating times of up to 3 months.
- Excellent intercoat adhesion properties.

ROYALPRIME 1600
Mordant Solution
A single component specially formulated acidic solution containing copper salt for the pre-treatment of galvanised steel substrates.
- Designed as a pre-treatment for new galvanised steel prior to painting.
- The product chemically reacts with the surface to form an adherent black complex that serve as an indicator to ensure galvanised surface is adequately treated. Regions of inadequate treatment can be identified for further treatment.
- This treatment will ensure that good adhesion of subsequent coatings due to its self-etching properties onto the galvanised substrate.
ROYALKYD GLOSS 1000
Alkyd Undercoat
A single component, highly pigmented undercoat based on a modified alkyd resin system.
- An anti-corrosive buildcoat or maintenance coating for use in conventional alkyd coating systems.
- For use on steel and wood substrates.
- Good anti-corrosive performance.
- Good opacity / hiding power.
- Good flow and levelling properties.

Alkyd MIO
A single component, modified alkyd undercoat pigmented with micaceous iron oxide.
